I lost 50 lbs. in 12 months

Over 12 months I lost 50 lbs. and 10″ from my waist to get the skinniest I’ve been in my life. Now I get plenty of compliments on my body, am way more confident, and look good in clothes again.

In 2019 I was 230 lbs., had lost confidence, and looked bad in clothes

Once I got up around 230 lbs. people would sometimes call me “big guy”, which didn’t feel great since I was already insecure about my weight gain.

When people started calling me “big guy” I knew I had to lose some weight.

As I got bigger there were less stylish clothes options I could wear and once my waistline broke 40” it became very hard to look or feel good in clothes anymore.

Although I was happily married, I couldn’t help but notice women gave me less looks and attention than when I was trimmer and in better shape.

I made the decision to do whatever it takes to get skinny

I had made feeble efforts at weight loss in the past but let myself be stopped by what I know now are just small obstacles.

Junk food that can make you fat if you don't have a solid weight loss plan that allows you to eat it on occasion.
Junk food helped make me fat but now I have the knowledge to enjoy treats occasionally and still have abs.

One day something just clicked inside of me – I knew I had the drive to get the body I wanted and would make it happen no matter what I had to do or how long it would take.

Once I started losing some weight, I became even more motivated. After a certain point I was 100% confident that I could lose as much as I needed to get the body I wanted.

Over the next 12 months I lost 50 lbs. of fat

My weight loss didn’t happen in a straight line – I had to monitor my progress and be willing to make changes and try new things when the fat loss slowed down, stopped, or reversed.

Our bodies change and adapt to weight loss programs. I had to be dynamic with my diets and willing to make changes when necessary.

12 months might seem like a long time, but it really wasn’t – when your stomachs consistently getting flatter there’s always something to be excited about and it’s easy to stay motivated.

By the time I lost 30 lbs. I was looking good in clothes again and regained a lot of confidence but wanted to keep losing and see how great of a body I could achieve.

I got the skinny body I wanted

After losing 50 lbs. I was really close to my ideal body. But then I needed to tweak my diet to slow weight loss a bit and add in some weight training to put on some muscle.

Once I got around 180 lbs. I changed my diet, so I wasn’t losing weight as fast but added some muscle to show off my lower bodyfat %.

Here’s how I’ll get you skinny

  1. We’ll start with a chat – On our intro call we’ll discuss where you’re at, what your target weight is, and what you’ve tried in the past
  2. Join the platform – You’ll receive instructions to join our coaching platform
  3. Establish a baseline – Over the first 2 weeks we’ll track your food intake and weight changes to understand how your eating is impacting your weight
  4. Start losing – Your weight loss program will start as least intensive as needed to begin generating fat reduction
  5. Monitor – My coaching assistant and I will constantly monitor your stats
  6. Adjust – As you lose fat, we’ll have to tweak our strategy to keep dropping. This is the key most people miss.
  7. Stay connected – We’ll have 30-minute coaching calls every other week to hold you accountable, discuss progress, address obstacles, and make tweaks.
  8. Stay committed – There will be setbacks. If you commit to getting skinny, I’ll commit to do everything in my power to help you.
